Charged or ticketed? Start with what happened.

Counted in filings

The work we file, counted

  • 420

    license hearings requested
  • 1,380

    ticket cases closed
  • 95

    commercial-license reviews
  • 260

    reinstatement packets filed

Our own counts since the firm opened. They count work filed, not results; every case is different and none of these numbers predicts yours.

After you pick

What the first week looks like

  • 01

    Day one: you tell us

Pick from the list above or call. We ask for the date, the charge and your license type, and nothing more.

  • 02

Day two: we read the paper

The citation, the notice, any test results. We list every deadline in plain words, the license one first.

  • 03

Day three: a plan and a price

Both in writing, before you pay. If we can't help, we say so and tell you who might.

  • 04

By day five: what's due is filed

A hearing request, a plea, a response. You get a copy of each.

Papers to gather

Bring what you have. Skip what you don't.

A missing paper never keeps us from starting. These are the ones that save the most time.

Helpful to have

  • The ticket, citation or arrest paperwork

  • Any notice about your license

  • The date, and the city or county where it happened

  • Whether you hold a regular or a commercial license

Drivers on the other side of it

“I thought paying was the easy way out. Corina showed me what it would do to my insurance first, and it took one phone call, not a day off work.”

Nico R.Speeding ticket

“My license notice was in English and I couldn't tell how long I had. Rosendo explained it in Spanish that afternoon and filed the request for me.”

Jovita M.License hearing

“My whole job rides on that license. They asked about my route and my carrier before they asked about the ticket, and that's when I knew they understood.”

Sample comments. Every case is different, and how these drivers' matters ended doesn't predict yours.

Questions drivers ask first

What does the first call cost?

The first call is for listening and reading your paperwork. We tell you the price of any work before you agree to it, in writing.

I don't know what to do first.

Look for dates on every paper. The license deadline is usually the shortest, so we start there and work outward.

My ticket is from another town. Can you help?

We appear in Las Cruces and across Doña Ana County. For other places we tell you honestly whether we can go, or who to call.

Is what I tell you private?

Once we've agreed to talk, yes: what you tell a lawyer about your case is confidential. Until then, please keep details off the form and the email.

Have a notice in hand? Call before its deadline.

A lawyer reads it with you, in English or Spanish, and tells you the date that matters most.
