Commercial drivers

Your CDL is your paycheck.

Commercial drivers face stricter limits and stricter rules, and a citation you'd shrug off in a car can end a job. We read every citation through that lens, whatever you were driving.

What we handle

  • Disqualification notices and out-of-service orders

  • A DUI in your own car that still reaches your CDL

  • Speeding and lane citations while working

  • Roadside log, weight and equipment citations

  • Clearinghouse and employer questions

What a CDL case has to protect

  • Your license class

Some convictions count against a CDL even in a personal vehicle. We check which ones apply to you.

  • Your livelihood

We ask about your route, your carrier and your schedule before we plan court dates around them.

  • Your record with the carrier

We help you understand what you must report and when, and what you needn't volunteer.

A CDL holder's first questions

Does a ticket in my own car count against my CDL?

Many convictions do. Send us the citation and we'll tell you whether yours does before you answer it.

Can I keep working during a case?

Often yes, unless you've been disqualified or placed out of service. The notice tells us which.

Do I have to tell my employer?

Some events must be reported within a set time. We tell you which, so you report what's required and nothing more.

Leave a message with your license class and we'll call back between runs.
