Traffic tickets

A ticket isn't just a fine.

Points, insurance rates and, for some drivers, a license hold follow a conviction. We read the citation, tell you what paying it would really cost and answer it for you when the court allows.

Tickets we take

  • Speeding, including school and work zones

  • Red lights, stop signs and unsafe lane changes

  • Citations written after a crash

  • No insurance or expired registration

  • Driving on a suspended license

Pay, fight or negotiate

  • Pay it

Paying counts as admitting it. We tell you what that adds to your record and your insurance first.

  • Fight it

A hearing where the officer has to explain the stop. We prepare the questions and go with you.

  • Negotiate it

Sometimes the prosecutor will accept a lesser charge or a driving class. We ask, and tell you what it costs.

Before you pay a ticket

Do I have to appear?

Sometimes a lawyer can appear for you. Check the citation for a date and call us before it passes.

Will it raise my insurance?

A conviction can. That's the main reason to look at a ticket before paying it.

Can I just pay online?

You can, but it usually closes the case as a conviction. If you're unsure, ask us first.

Ticket in the glovebox? Show it to us first.

A photo of the front and back is enough to start.
